Our program is designed around the idea of giving our students the opportunity to choose activities that suit their individual interests. We want our students to have the freedom to choose different activities throughout the afternoon while providing structure for them to be successful during these social periods.

During choice periods students are allowed to pick an area of the school (gym, cafeteria, auditorium) where a planned activity is taking place for that period. During second and third choice periods there is “travel time” where students may choose another activity in another room during that period if there is space permitting.

This simplified outline of our schedule does not account for rainy days or special events when the schedule needs to adjust accordingly.
