Important Update

We will automatically withdraw your registration fee upon confirmation of acceptance into the program. NO CHECKS OR CASH ACCEPTED. Each child must have a separate form.  We must receive the registration form a minimum of 48 hours in advance of enrollment.

AASEP offers scholarships for families who qualify. Please contact our office to apply. In addition, we are able to receive payment from the State of Oregon’s Dept. of Family Services. Contact your case manager for more information.

*By submitting your registration forms, you are reserving a spot on our wait list and a holding deposit and/or registration fee will be charged to your account. Our office staff will notify you when a spot is available for enrollment.

Tuition and Fees

Below you will find the current information regarding our automatic payment program along with a form for enrollment. This form is also attached to our registration form.

Tuition is billed monthly.

Full Time- $503
Part Time (2-3) Days- $390

Registration Fee per family- $125 (once per year)
 

Our monthly fees above are based on the cost of care for the school year. We have a few additional fees which appear month-by-month on your bills, as necessary.

  1. Drop in fee: $35.00 – Any child enrolled in the program may be schedule for a drop-in day in addition to their regularly scheduled day. Drop-ins are arranged a full day or more in advance by calling 503-223-9744. There are limited drop-in spaces. Parents are called to pick up children who are not scheduled.
  2. Schedule Change Fee: $25.00 -You may change your child’s schedule free of charge during Winter break and Spring Break. Otherwise, there is a processing fee for changes made at any other time. The exception to this fee is changing from part-time to full-time.
  3. Late Payment Fee: $10.00– for payments received after the 10th of the month or returned ACH payments.
  4. Keeping your account current will help avoid any over-payments. We are not set up for any cash refunding, and can only apply an over-payment towards services and the next month’s bill.
  5. Finder’s Fee: $15.00– for days we have not been notified of a cancellation by 12:00 pm on a regularly scheduled day. We are committed to your child’s safety and therefore will do everything we can to locate children who do not arrive at AASEP. This may include calling you to determine if a child has been cancelled for the day. Please help us by calling to cancel as soon as possible at 503-223-9744.
  6. Late Pick-up Fee: $5.00 per minute after 6:00 pm. Excessive lateness may result in termination from the program.
  7. Fines and miscellaneous fees will be charged to your next months bill. Any monthly payment is counted toward previous month’s fees and fines before tuition.
  8. Absences: AASEP does not pro-rate tuition or offer discounts when your child is absent, on vacation, picked-up before 6:00 pm, or dropped from the program mid-month

Payments

  1. We will send out tuition statements via email around the 1st of the month.
  2. Families will have a few days to review their statement and notify us via phone of any adjustments that need to be made (mistakes happen).
  3. Payments will be processed on or after the 10th of each month.
  4.  IMPORTANT! UPDATED POLICY: Checks and Cash are NOT accepted at any time for monthly tuition or enrollment.
  5. Take the time to review your statement!  We limit the maximum amount to be withdrawn at $2,000.00. If you have a large balance that has past due items (previous month’s tuition, misc. charges) all of that will be withdrawn, up to $2,000.00. This program helps us to keep all accounts up to date and limit the number of past due items.
  6. Please notify us if at any time you cannot reconcile your entire bill so that we can work with you to do so. Payment plans are available.
  7. If you have not notified us of a discrepancy, and a payment is processed, it will take up to 5 business days to refund and make corrections.
  8. We recognize that some families would like to split charges between guardians. Unfortunately, we cannot currently accommodate this need, but wish we could.
  9. Changes to schedules must be made two weeks in advance. This includes leaving AASEP, for which we do not refund for partial months.
  10. Families may be accountable for charges relating to changes made less than two weeks notice.
