Hello AASEP families,
Portland Public Schools is minimizing the amount of people inside their buildings. At this time, there are only a select few schools open for childcare, all of which are Title I, and Ainsworth is not one of them. This means that AASEP will not be able to open this Fall.
It is our plan, once the school is open for in-person instruction, that we will also open. We will be contacting families on our wait list as soon as we have an opening date.
What happens next?
Your spot on the wait list will remain intact and our staff will contact you when we are preparing to reopen. You will have the first right of refusal once we call to inform you of our schedule availability and pricing.

Will AASEP staff be available for nannying or tutoring during this time?
Sadly, are staff are not available. They are working hard behind the scenes to prep our program for when we can safely open, so they will not be available. We wish we could help each and every one of our families at this time!
What if I already have care for my child this Fall and would prefer to apply in the Winter/Spring?
You should should apply to be placed on our wait list. If you have already sent in a 2020/2021 registration form, we will call you to offer you a spot when we get to your name on the wait list. If you do not need the spot at that time but wish to remain on the wait list, simply let our staff know and we will follow up with you at a later date.
