We spend a lot of time working with other people’s children here at Ainsworth After Care, but soon one of our teachers will bring one of her own into the world. One of our longest running staff members, Heather, recently left the program to prepare for the coming of baby girl Noe with her husband Tony.
Before Heather left for good, the staff and students at After Care threw her a surprise baby shower, complete with cake, streamers, and presents.
Baby Noe received several blankets designed with help from the students, who each took the time to create a bird design on a quilt square, resulting in a colorful, creative reminder of Heather’s time here at the program.
We wish Heather and Tony good luck on their upcoming journey as they welcome their first child.
Heather, in addition to being a skilled teacher and favorite amongst the kids, was also a tireless friend, and we will miss her joy around the program.
Thank you Heather for your years at After Care and we hope to see you and your newest member of the family soon!
UPDATE: Heather and Tony welcomed Noe May Braga into the world on the morning of Thursday, December 4th! She weighed 6 lbs 5 oz.
