On our recent long day, we traveled down under to the sunny and exotic island of Australia. The students of Ainsworth AfterCare spent their day making their own boomerangs, didgeridoos, and koala masks.
The “Dramatic Play” area turned into an ocean of surfboards and clownfish. The children were able to turn an otherwise gray day in early Oregon spring into a sun soaked trip to an Australian beach.
After lunch, we all packed up in a couple of school busses and rode off to Bullwinkles Family Fun Center for a day of arcade style fun. Check out all the pictures of our exciting day at Bullwinkles, as the students enjoyed a myriad of events such as arcade games, carnival rides, giant play structures, and even lazer tag.
