Campout Week

It’s the final week of the year! Congratulations on everyone making it through another one. There is still plenty of fun stuff to go around though, so don’t start transitioning to summer just yet.

Tuesday marks our annual Carnival, one of the most anticipated events on the After Care calendar, when the back field turns into a fair full of games, bouncy houses, and even a dunk tank, where the kids will get a chance to dunk some fifth graders… and even some of the teachers!

However, before we get to the fun of the carnival… let’s look at another awesome Ainsworth tradition, Campout Week!

It was another successful week full of nature walks, stick houses, and bird art… lots and lots of bird art. The peak of the week was our Campout up in the green space, where teachers and students alike participated in camp games and skits. Each grade performed a skit, and all were a huge hit! Teacher J won this year’s oreo challenge, in which the participant must try to move a cookie from their forehead and catch it in his or her mouth without using their hands. It was definitely a highlight of the day.

Check out all the fun pics below and good luck in the final week of the school year!
