Happy Thanksgiving

Welcome back! We hope everyone had a fun and filling Thanksgiving break.

Here at Ainsworth Aftercare we finished off our November with Pet Week, a theme devoted entirely to our furry and feathered friends, and then three full long days.

Pet Week was a major success this year. Thank you to all the parents and students who participated by bringing in stuffed animals and donating spare change to our pet relief fund. The kids had a great time dressing up their pets in the latest fashion.

Our three Thanksgiving long days traveled to the ancient civilizations of Greece, Rome, and Egypt. Our students learned about these far off cultures while creating some artifacts of their own such as pottery, headdresses, and pyramids.

On day one, we took a field trip to Skateworld. Children young and old and at all different skating levels took to the rink for fast moving fun.

Day two featured a trip to Out of this World Pizza. There, the kids exerted some energy in the giant play place, bouncy house, and scooter cars. A slice of pizza for lunch kept them active all the way back to Ainsworth.

Finally, on Wednesday, we all took a nice deep breath before the holiday with a relaxing Pajama Day. Staff and students alike donned their comfy clothes and lounged about, enjoying a viewing of Monsters University on the projector screen in the gym.

Again, we hope you all had a fabulous break, and with only a few more weeks before Winter Break, there is just a short stretch before we are all back at the holidays again. Enjoy all the pictures of our long day fun!
