We are back! We are now a few weeks into our new school year and it feels great to be back in the swing of things.
We have plenty of new faces, both little and big, and with all the new student and new staff just getting the names down has been a challenge!
If you have gone out on the back field at all this school year, you will have noticed the brand new play structure. So far it has been quite a hit, to the point that the school has adopted a system to keep it from getting too crowded. Odd grades (1,3,5) will get it one day and the even grades (k,2,4) will get it the next, and we here at After Care have adopted the same policy during our recess time.
We are all so excited to be back with the kids and having fun with all kinds of activities. Buckaroo is this week, which is always an exciting time, and to celebrate at After Care we have planned all sorts of activities, such as cowboy names, sheriff badges, and wild west mustaches.
Sometimes, our staff take it upon themselves to have a bit of fun. Just the other day,
one of our teachers, Jane, celebrated National Pirate Day with costume, voices, and sea worthy tales out on the field.
