November, AKA No-School-vember, has been full of Long Days in Aftercare! With conferences happening all day, Aftercare has been able to provide fun, crafts, and games for extra hours.
We have been exploring ancient realms this year so each Long Day has its own theme. So far we have learned about Ancient Egypt, Mayan, and Aztec Civilizations. Mummy crafts, Mayan relays, and learned about Mayan culture and art.
As an extra bonus during the Long Days we knocked down a bunch of pins at the nearby bowling alley and we were able to see the Children’s Theater’s Production of Goosebumps! It was such a treat to see live performers sing and act out the beloved (and spooky!) rendition of Goosebumps before our eyes.
