In our overdue second edition to the Meet the Staff portion of the blog, I introduce or, if you have already met him, reacquaint you with Adam Paul Harvey.
Adam works as a Teacher’s Aid here at Aftercare, assisting the teachers where needed and playing and engaging the kids throughout the day. His goal is to facilitate a safe and fun environment for the students, no matter what the game or activity.
He came to us at Ainsworth at the beginning of January of this year. He has worked with children in various capacities for over a decade and has been an amazing addition to the Ainsworth Aftercare team.
While originally from Sterling Heights, Michigan, Adam is in his second stint in Portland already, maybe because two of his favorite things are hiking and the rain, two things all Portlandians must adore. In his off time he loves baseball, most notably the Nationals, as evident both by the W hat he often wears and in the rousing games of kickball he leads outside.
Adam is happy to be Ainsworth, and the kids are happy to have him. Feel free to say hello or introduce yourself if you see him when you come for pickup.
