Meet Arica Stares! Pronounced like Erica Stairs, Arica is one of our newest staff at Ainsworth, having arrived at the beginning of 2013. She is a Portland native, so she has not been bothered by the many rainy days.
Arica, as a teacher’s aid, helps in many ways around After Care. Some of her favorite activities around Ainsworth are Kickwall outside and legos in the auditorium. You can also find her spotting candidates for fuzzy patrol, our child fuzzy ticket distributors. If your child wants to hand out fuzzy tickets, then Arica is the person they need to see.
In her time away from school, Arica loves to sew, cook, bake, play video games and go on night hikes with friends. She has a cat named lazer beam and, a fun fact, she can sign the alphabet in American Sign Language.
