On last Friday’s long day, Ainsworth After Care flew off to Never Never Land for a day full of pirates, fairies, and mermaids. After finishing up our reading of Peter Pan during the week, our Lost Boys and Lost Girls spent the long day making fairy dust, avoiding hungry crocodiles, and flying to the stars.
Our field trip, then, was the fittingly named Out of this World. There the kids exhausted themselves in the overwhelmingly fun three-story play structure, jumped around on the bouncy house, and zoomed around on little pedal trikes.
After a quick snack of pizza and some more play, everyone boarded the bus, came back to school, and settled in the lounge for a showing of Disney’s Peter Pan, which was surprisingly the first viewing for most of them.
