We come off of MLK Day on the heels of Peace Week at Ainsworth Aftercare.
All of last week, students participated in peaceful projects ranging from homemade peace signs, to peace wishes, to a march dedicated to help spread peace around the world… or at least throughout the hallways of Ainsworth.
We would like to thank everyone who has helped fuel our projects with donations, as well as all those who encouraged their children to wear tie-dye on Friday.
This week, we will be throwing Fuzzy Friend parties for each grade. Check signs in the cafeteria to see which days your child’s grade will hold its party. If your child cannot make it to their grade’s day, they are welcome to make it up with a different grade.
Coming up next Monday is another long day. Sign up sheets are available at reception. We will take a field trip to Sunset Lanes for a fun afternoon of bowling, so please make sure your child has socks to wear, as well as packed lunch.
