It was two costume filled weeks over the end of October in After Care, as we donned capes and utility belts for Superhero Week before welcoming in ghouls and ghoullettes for the week of Halloween.
We want to thank all of our kids for jumping headfirst into their outfits and alter egos, as well as our parents for getting into the spirit as well.
Superhero Week featured a dramatic play area straight out of Gotham and Metropolis, as the kids took on the task of keeping our cafe safe from bad guys. Check out some of the Superhero pics below.
Halloween was a great success as well! The 5th grade haunted house was as creepy and fun as ever thanks to the spooky performances from our oldest students. Thanks for all your patience as you came to pick your children up on that fun day.
As always, there were some great costumes on Halloween day, and while we saw many of our kids leave early for trick-or-treating, we still managed to get some pictures of them in the Halloween spirit. We hope you all had a safe and fun holiday and look forward to seeing everyone for the month of November.
