May 6th – May 10th | OCEAN WEEK
Surfs up! We’re celebrating all things underwater with shell collecting crafts, ocean in a bottle, sea creature art, and sand creations. We will also have Merfolk Club, where students can make a variety of crafts, like sea shell crowns and mini tridents. Club goers will have a tasty treat at the end of the week! No sign-up required.
May 13th – May 17th | SHAKESPEARE WEEK
We’re jumping back in time to The Elizabethan era, to celebrate the works of William Shakespeare, with a focus on poetry and acting. Students can write their own sonnets or dramatic play scenes, clown around like Puck in a comedic play, learn how to write with quills and work with character masks. To be, or not to be: that is the question”
“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date”.
May 20th – May 24th | CAMPOUT WEEK
Our beloved campout tradition is here again! Students will choose their camp names with their grade and perform group skits and sing camp songs on Thursday, May 23rd. There will be a special no-roast smores treat in the Green Space. (An alternative snack will be provided for students with allergies/restrictions). We will be tie-dying t-shirts on Wednesday, May 22nd. If you do not have a t-shirt for your student already, we will have some at reception to purchase for $2.00. Boom Chica Boom!

May 28th – May 31st | WACKY WEEK
Things are about to get silly at AASEP! Activities include polka-dot slime, kazoos, shaving cream sensory play, ice painting, sill hair puppets and relay races. Let’s get silly!
