If you’ve seen tie-dyed shirts lately that’s because we had Camp Out Week! It was a week full of songs, nature crafts, bird calls, flower art, beaded key chains, and so many other fun projects.
As a special feature of Camp Out Week this year we challenged all the grades to see who could earn the most “Fuzzy Friend” tickets. If students were caught being safe, respectful, responsible, or being a fuzzy friend, they would earn a ticket that contributed to their grade’s week-long tally of fuzzy tickets. Winners of this Fuzzy Friend competition got to choose which Aftercare Staff they wanted to pie in the face- a very desired prize!
All the grades worked hard to win the competition but the Kindergartners were victorious! Teacher J was the chosen one to get pied (photo below!).
Up in the Auditorium we ended our Camp Out Week with singing songs, minute-to-win-it games, skits that were performed by class, and of course, some good ‘ol fashioned s’mores.
Summer break is coming up fast but we still have two more weeks featuring Underwater-themed fun and our Annual Carnival to celebrate the end of the year!
